EnerSys® recently expanded its ODYSSEY® Battery product line to include the ODYSSEY PC1220 and PC1350 batteries, available for premium European, Japanese and late-model American, automotive/LTV applications. The ODYSSEY PC1220 battery is comparable to BCI sizes 48 and 94R (European DIN L3), and the ODYSSEY PC1350 battery is comparable to BCI sizes 49 and 95R (European DIN L5).

ODYSSEY Battery Introduces ODYSSEY Battery Extreme Pro Team at 2010 Bassmaster Classic

The ODYSSEY® Battery Extreme Pro Team, comprised of five of the leading anglers in the United States, will compete in the 2010 Bassmaster Tournaments, which will be held from Feb. 19 through June 20. The tournaments begin with the Bassmaster Classic 2010, which will be held at Lay Lake in Birmingham, Ala., Feb. 19 through Feb. 21, to be followed by eight Elite Series events to be held in California, Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Oklahoma through June 20.

EnerSys Introduces ODYSSEY 75-PC1230 and 78-PC1500 Batteries with Front Terminal Configuration

From the Scrap Heap to the Record Books

The project to convert a small 1968 Sears 124cc motorcycle to electric power started this August in JMU's Alternative Fuel Vehicle lab.  The engine was removed and fitted with a DC motor, controller and other electrical components. Six Odyssey PC680 batteries for energy storage were donated from BatteryMart.com by Mark Jenkins, a JMU MBA alumnus.
